Description: Responsibilities /Duties:
  • Develop Vision and Mission of the business consortium ranging from Real Estate, Phnom Penh Boat Ride, and other  relevant upcoming companies before seeking approval from relevant stakeholders;
  • Work closely with stakeholders and senior management on the basic focus on Real Estate Company and Phnom Penh Boat Ride through reviewing, developing and leading strategies, policy, business plan, marketing plans, financial management and execution;
  • For Real Estate Company, assist stakeholders and senior management in identifying potential residential opportunities, real estate trends and development esp within Phnom Penh location, urban planning update, and other real estate matters and propose for development plan or changes.
  • Build and maintain positive and effective relationships with external partners, including banks, investors, related government officers, customers, housing/ apartment/ villa/ residential owners;
  • Oversee the negotiation of all major consignments and bidding, including investment agreements, loan documents, real estate (leasing, buying) contract management, property management agreements and other related real estate bidding;
  • Conduct various feasibility studies related to real estate and customer services and then find a better way to challenge with competitors and satisfy the customer values accordingly;
  • Train and support real estate development staff to be effective and technically excellent and maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the fields
  • Plan and develop a client database and other software systems to ensure the management and operation is efficient and effective;
  • For Phnom Penh Boat Ride, assist and advise stakeholders and senior management in identifying other similar services or new markets through various studies and propose business plan or proposal accordingly;
  • Align with various external clients such as tour agencies, luxury hotels, ministry of tourism and other partners to ensure that the business keeps profitable and sustainable;
  • Lead and organize various events, campaigns, promotion, or other social activities to promote boat services;
  • Support and assist staff development and motivate them to work fully and satisfactorily
  • Lead and conduct various studies to identify new business entry or business expansion related to hospitalities and real estates and propose to the related stakeholders and senior management respectively;
  • Lead, manage and monitor human resources, budget, management and administration under the responsibilities;
  • Prepare all reports (including monthly, quarterly, yearly…etc) that clearly explain operational effectiveness, trends and variances as required by all relevant stakeholders;
  • Establish a good working environment by providing a  good relation, staff well beings, career growth and fair treatments for all kinds of employment based on  labor law and regulations;
  • Promote and keep safe practices and procedures in the company;

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a relevant field;
  •  At least 4 or 5 years’ experience in a managerial role, preferably in a GM role in a similar industry;
  • Some knowledge and experience with city programs, public funding sources, property management and/or  real estate;
  • Able to analyze complex data, perform sophisticated analysis, and make appropriate recommendations and decisions;
  • Ability to influence and provide strategic leadership and management to a senior management level;
  • Strong knowledge of marketing strategic plan and research & development;
  • Excellent communication with professional attitude;
  • Be visionary, initiative and self-starter with minimal supervision;
  • Be entrepreneurial and result drive;
  • Be flexible and team-building with high tenacity;
  • Strong English proficiency – both written and spoken;
  • Good working knowledge of computer systems and applications;
